Bidvest left me stranded overseas without funds!

Our recent honeymoon in Bali was almost ruined by Bidvest Bank. We had a problem where we lost my cards. We tried your international help number but there was no answer and we waited for several minutes. It was around 2am South African time. How could the lines have been busy??? We have mailed you about the matter... there was no reply. My even hellopetered you... no reply. I was almost stranded in a foreign country without funds because of your service. Pathetic.

I am mortified to see that my call charges in my attempts to call Bidvest have amounted to over R450. I say attempted because nobody bothered to take the call. Your call centre cannot be that busy! I am utterly disgusted. Why should I be liable for the call charges when Bidvest just kept me on hold for so long! In addition your 'customer service' department is yet to reply to our emails or our complaint.
I expect a refund on my call charges and on any fees paid to Bidvest up front. I paid for a service. Bidvest offered me no service at all. You are meant to be a professional company. This was posted on Facebook a month as you did not reply to our mails etc ago... a response was promised but not given
