Application taking too long

I am rather annoyed by the appauling service I'm getting from African bank in Randburg. I went there on Monday to do a loan application, then I had to call for feedback as no one had said anything to me only to be told by Magesh that my cell number was captured incorrectly but he needed me to go to the branch for some or other details which I did. Today is Thursday I get a call to say a variance letter is required from HR, my question is don't African bank employees know this, why was I not told about this from the get go. There's a reason I applied for that loan and now to be quiet honest, it's going to serve no purpose because of unnecessary delays. Can African bank just properly train their staff!!
