I phoned Virgin Insurance with a number of queries/complaints on Tuesday, 14 January. After being transferred to I don't know how many people I finally ended up with Jessica Lindeque. She was very helpful on the phone, noted all my queries and complaints and told me she will take them up with the relevant departments. She then PROMISED to keep me updated DAILY via email.
Nothing happened except that I received a letter detailing my claims history. This alone required a major undertaking as I had requested this twice before, and got sent some nonsense about a no claims bonus (not applicable to Virgin Money Insurance) and that I had no claims against my policy which is not true. Apparently that letter had to be drawn up by hand (Ridiculous).
Two days after my initial conversation with Jessica and having received none of the promised emails I emailed her to ask what is happening and was told about a major system crash which apparently prevented them from attending to my queries. Since then 1 more mail saying she tried to phone me twice, on different days. One call, and if I don't answer another one the next day? I even told her to try again a little later as I could be with clients.
