Debited my account for a closed policy account

I cancelled my Miway insurance policy which was due to start on 01-Feb-2014 a few weeks ago. The lady I was dealing assured me that the policy had been cancelled.

On Sunday, I receive notification from the bank that a debit order has been debited from my account by Miway. On Monday I try to call them several times, their automated call system doesn't allow my call through. I have no choice but to leave a call me back message on their system and their site. I make it abundantly clear that I need this money returned urgently as I have other debit orders to go through.

I receive no response from them and finally decide to give them another call, I finally go through and I am Transferred to a guy called Thulane Letsie who is a senior advisor, I explain my situation to him and he tells me that they have to check their phone records and if what I say i verified, they will let me know and the soonest I can get my money back is within 72 hours.

He promises me that he will get in contact with me yesterday or the latest today and provide feedback. I'm still waiting for the call and more importantly my money which should never have been taken in the first place.
