I am disgusted by the way I have been treated, to and misinformed by the Bedfordview Nedbank Branch. I have just gone through a divorce and had to re-register my house from my name and my ex-wife's name into my name only. While going through this process I have also asked the bank for more money on top of my existing bond (an endorsement and re-advancement).

At the beginning of this process I had been told certain costs would not apply and interest rates would stay the same, but despite double checking on numerous occasions I was continuously told all was in order and nothing would change. That, however, is not how it worked out. After registering my house and then applying for the re-advancement and further loan, my interest rate change dramatically and I was forced to pay hidden costs that I had previously asked about and been told there were none. Now, too far into the process because of previous contracts signed during my divorce I am obliged to pay. When I asked the bank to explain themselves they simply could not, they went with the attitude of 'that is the way it is and there is nothing we can do now'.

Disgusted and leaving Nedbank, and will encourage all to do so.
