I am an Elite Banking customer and was promised service deluxe!
I went yesterday to get a secondary card for my partner. Took both ID books and proof of residence, thinking that would all that be needed as it is made out on your website that it is so easy to get! I was questioned about my income and expenditure and I needed a copy of my payslip. Etc etc!!! I am not applying for Elite banking just a secondary card. I do not see the necessity for all this again. I am not on trial here! It annoys me that I get this account and then to be stuffed around by a consultant. I have been a customer of Standard Bank for over 25 years and I get this!! I have been so happy with the service of Std Bank and Elite banking. BUT you have made me a very unhappy customer!!! She was rude and judgemental as I got this account on my qualification not income based. I have run my account VERY well!!! I need a resolution to this immediately! I refuse to supply a payslip and want a card delivered immediately to the Hilton branch and to inform me that it has been done. This or I close my account and go somewhere else!
