A faulty thermostat in our geyser caused water to over boil, melting the drip tray, resulting in water leaking through our ceiling causing damage to an entire ceiling board of my sons bedroom, and most of the items inside the bedroom. The bed, bedside table, linen, carpet, story books and book shelf. Plumbers were sent out, building contractors were sent out and NOTHING. The only feedback from Nedgroup was by sms. We have had to phone on a daily basis for updates with a response "we will follow up and get back to you" NOT A SINGLE PERSON FROM NEDGROUP has contacted us. 6 days later not a single thing has been fixed. We still have a hole in our ceiling. The thermostat and drip tray which is NOT covered under the policy the Nedgroup plumbers were very happy to fix but nothing covered under the Nedgroup policy has to date been fixed. We follow up at 6:00pm tonight as again no one phoned us with feedback and we were told to phone back in office hours..AND that our policy does not cover any of the damages.. BUT our policy does state the following "result and damage following bursting, leaking, overflowing of geyser, water apparatus and pipes" WE ARE COVERED for damage to our ceiling
