SUSPICIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE

When phoning the Standard Bank National Customer Services Line, the service requires the clients card number & pin number.

According to the bank, this information should not be given to any person, not even the bank officials - yet the telephone service requires that you enter the information, in order to proceed with the query.

Myself and a few colleges are not willing to take the risk of providing our private pin numbers during inquiries and find it surprising that the bank service requires such information.
