Horrible communication from Standard Bank!!

I applied for a British Airways credit card through Standard Bank (SB), as I frequently fly with the airline and it just made sense, I sent an online application and got a response to send documents on 2 November [Email Removed] which I did and after not receiving a response, and went to the Thibault Square branch, I was sent Sisa Simanga (mobile consultant), who offered me a Prestige Account (which requires a degree, and I have a Postgraduate Diploma, which is higher, but seems to be a problem at SB), savings pocket, offer to transfer my business account, and a multitude of other accounts. I finally went to the Thibault Branch again, only to find I was offered an Elite account, and it seems the credit card was declined, all information that I should have received via telephone, email, or since Standard Bank is so efficient, sent somebody to my place of work. I am really disappointed, but now know to never ever approach standard bank with any account business, home, or otherwise in the future.
