On Friday 17 January 2014 at approximately 03:30 I had a housebreaking where the trellidor burglar bars was damaged, CAS 130/01/2014. I phoned the claims department.. A claim was logged Claim number 2522244. Second to None Trading were commissioned to do the repairs. The company visited my property on the same day and a quote send to ABSA. Since then we have received no feedback. I have phoned numerous times without any success - only reached a lady taking messages with a promise that someone will contact me. I have also contacted the company to follow up and was told that they also have received no feedback from ABSA, not via telephone nor on their emails send.
On Monday I have contacted ABSA via email regarding my concerns and received an email from a Richards Roberts notifying me that my query has been forwarded to one of the agents who will contact me as soon as possible. Up till date I have received no feedback what so ever.
My home is currently a risk as it is not secured as per ABSA's insurance requirements and have I yet again communicated via email and cell with no success. ABSA - Today, tomorrow, together?? Maybe they should change their logo!
