Had damage to my property border wall with a tree being blown over and damaging 5 wall panels. Put claim in 05 Nov 2013. A person came and took photos of the damage. Did regular telephonic follow-ups and Absa call centre assured me every time that they will inform their Pretoria office and the sub contractor informed me that they are waiting for authority from Absa..Eventually a person contacted me on 06 Dec 2013 to come and take photos (again) of the damage. Since then nothing has happened. Sent E mails to Absa 29/11/2013 and 17/12/2013 without any feedback. Sent Absa "actionline" E mails on 06/01/2014, (reply: A dedicated consultant will contact you and keep you updated on the progress reference No 2637886) 21/01/2014 (reply: We have escalated your complaint) and 27/01/2014 (reply: Your complaint has been forwarded to a consultant who will contact you) To date no consultant has contacted me, no response was received from my first two E mails and to date I have not even been informed regarding the acceptance/refusal of my claim. In most of the E mails I requested contact details of personnel who could possibly assist me or were in higher positions. Requests were ignored
