Absa advertises as the bank that makes banking simpiler yet all they do is from their clients. I have not used my absa account in months yet it managed to run up massive amounts of charges for internet banking and other services I have not used in 4 months or more. Only to find out that if I want to actually close my account I have to pay R300 and something rand. Its disgusting. If my account is in a positive why on earth should I have to pay over R300 to close an account!
