My husband and I were hijacked on the 09th January 2014, we lodged the claim on the 14th due to delays at the police pound and had to wait for the courteousy car till the 23rd after much hassles. The assessors took forever to go out and have a look at the car, they that they went out initially, only after pushing them, they went out, now we await the report. This is totally unacceptable, you pay your premiums and expect your insurance to act when you have a problem like this but no they add secondary stress to the traumatic stress that you are already facing. My husband started writing to them as they never available on the phone now they get clever and dont read their emails because of the read receipt. Their policy schedules are never clear, they only gave us a courteousy car for 6 days now its back to public transport. What inconvenience with little kids!!! When you call in, they never give you straight answers and put you on hold forever and cut you off. Beware of this company. I recommend that all their clients having such issues with them join together and write to the Ombudsman as well as contact the newspapers so more consumers are not fooled by their cheap premiums.
