Access amount and claiming process flawed

Now I am facing massive delays and also investigations when I need to claim for the damages in my car. I don't understand because when they deduct money from my account every month I don't give them a hustle but now because I had an accident and decide to claim they delay their process to frustrate customers and also to find reasons, even unnecessary ones, not to pay my claim. Its running to two weeks now, why must I suffer like this whereas I am their customer, is it because I am claiming and they don't like claims because they are losing? Secondly, I have been told lately that my policy is a so called "mi way light", it is said that my excess is the value of the car and not the value of the damage as conventionally known. I was even told that I don't read contracts and that is the agreement I have with them. They gave me the quotation of the assessed damage in my car and the total cost of the repairs of the vehicle R32 000. So according to my policy, as they interpret, I must pay R20 000 (10% of the value of my car) and it means Mi Way is just going to pay R12 000. Why then do I pay car insurance every month? This is utterly in disgrace; I am disappointed with Mi Way, period!!!
