When applying for travel insursnce they calculate total travel time by rounding UP all days. Making my 14.5 day travel a 16 day trip, that increases cost by R213 per person from R387 to R600!!
The cost bracket 1-15 days is what you'd expect if your trip lasts 14nights
4 hours and 20 minutes are counted as 1 day then 14 days then 9 hours and 40 minutes counted as another day. According to their calculations then 16 days!!
When in truth. 14 days and 14 hours. Or if you really must round up to the nearest day 15 days. NOT 16!!
