My partner is travelling to johannesburg from durban left at 9pm last night arrived at halfway montrose at 1am to be told the fan belt snapped bus cannot continue the trip and must be patient. A new bus arrived at 9am, an 8 hour trip has no turned to 16 hours incoveniencing passengers we have had atrip planned which has to now be cancelled. Nothing was given to passengers to contain them they just had to wait. Intercape promises a dependable safe travelling service yet sends a bus on a busy auspicious period with a fault putting passengerss at risk and offers no alternative or back up plan for their passengers except wait for 8 hours at halfway. What solution is this? Who will want to travel with intercape after such an episode?
