Virgin Money Account Put on Hold Without Notice!

On Friday 17 May 2013 at 17:00 I wanted to pay for something with my new Virgin Money Credit Card. There's more than enough of a balance on the card to pay for the goods but low and behold my card is declined. I tried it again and still declined. I was SO EMBARRASSED to say the least. I immediately called VMSA to find out what the problem is, I was on the line for over 30 min and was disconnected due to the call centre closing @ 5:30pm. Saturday Morn 18 May I was on the phone and spoke to a Hannes Baarties at the call centre. Apparently my account was put on hold by a Majori in the verification department and I would have to send through copies of documents I already gave UTI when they delivered my card. Hannes said that the procedure is to make contact with clients to inform them of this happening. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED AT ALL!!

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! VERY POOR SERVICE on VMSA's part to allow their NEW client's to face embarrassment due to their staff not doing their jobs properly. If I was notified I would have sent through the docs!!

I have sent all the docs to Majori's Fax on 18 May and I want to be contacted & this matter sorted out immediately!
