I opened a savings pocket account with FNB. When I sign onto internet banking the pocket savings account reflects on my accounts profile. On 3 March 2013 I transfered money into this account. When I went into my profile some days later the pocket savings account no longer appeared. I went into the Cresta branch to query this. I had the misfortune of dealing with a consultant name Rudi. I think a corpse would have more personality. I cannot understand how they would put this gentleman in an enviroment where he deals with clients. I would suggest FNB management observes this consultants interactions with the public. Totally unacceptable. He informed me that the account had been closed. That's it. I did not close it?? I informed him that it should be opened. He advised that he can do it but now again needs proof of residence. I NEVER closed the account. FNB's total arrogance galls me. Their system showed me the account is there - it allowed me to put money into the account and then it is just closed. Nobody informed me. Further to this it took FNB 3 months to replace my E bucks card that was taken in a. Again I had to deal with their incompetent staff.
