I went to Standard Bank Bracken City to close the access account that has been troublesome since i got it. It had a savings pocket on it. I had made some deposit into the savings acc. iI went to the branch on 08.05.2013 to close the account now sitting in R-47, i was told i'd have to deposit money into it before they could close it. Which i had no problem with. Upon checking the consultaltant informed me that i cannot close the account because the savings a have to give 7 days notice to have the savings money paid into my savings account. I waited for the 7 days, the savings had still not been deposited into the savings account. I called on 15.05.2013 to check on the status and they said it will be piad by 17.05.2013. I went to the branch to close the account BUT i still couldn't close it. Can i please just close this account so we can part ways. Thank you.
