Student Loan settled, FNB still deducts premiums

On 20 February 2013 i called FNB for a settlement letter on my student loan. On the settlement letter they gave the account that the money should be deposited into... Acc: 62121324222, I confirmed with the call centre and the self help service three times that the actual account is... Acc: 62021014189.

On 25 February 2013 i went in to the Centurion branch to pay the settlement amount R2 544.13 at the branch itself. There the cashier said she can not make the deposit into the account stipulated on the settlement letter so she has to pay it into the account that was confirmed by the call centre 3TIMES!!!

Leaving FNB satisfied because of the good service i dont think about the loan anymore.

Bad judgement on my part!!! On 1 March 2013, a premium was taken from my account EVEN AFTER THE LOAN WAS SETTLED!!! WHY???!!!

I call the call centre and speak to Shaun. He confirms the money was deposited into the incorrect account and the loan is still open. Shaun then said he will allocate the money and close the account and refund the premium. It is now 6 March and they have still not closed the account and refunded me.

I WANT THAT ACCOUNT CLOSED AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
