Personal Loan Application

Firstly I am a Widow and I receive a monthly pension from my deceased husband, I also have a full time job at South African Airways. I drove into a pothole on Monday morning the 20th Jan, two of my tryes damaged and another one punctured. I have been driving with the spare (marie biscuit), and two patched tyres. I went to 6 different dealers and was advised by all to put 4 new tyres on my car. I approached my Bank manager who assisted me then and there to apply for a Personal Loan. He said the funds should be in my account by Tuesday the latest. On Wednesday I called the number that was sms'd to me from the Personal Loan Div and was told that they have declined my loan due to the fact that I am a "PENSIONER" this is after I had sent them proof of my monthly pension as well as my latest salary advice. I explained this to the person in the call centre and she then requested a letter from HR of Confirmation of Employment, I send this via email within the following hour. It is now Friday, I called back as I have not heard from them only to be told that this was declined as I am a "PENSIONER", it is dangerous for me to be driving from Pta to OR Tambo everyday. I am disgusted!
