On Thursday 12/09/2013 my wife went to the bank to apply for a additional personal loan. She was told that she is approved for R6000. We then decided not to take the loan but first go and think about it. On Monday 16/06/2013 she went back to the branch to go ahead with the loan. She was then told that she qualifies for R5750. She told the.person that she will take it. The loan was done and all the paperwork was signed. She was told that the money will be in her account today or tomorrow. We then made some commitments to other places because the loan was approved and she signed for it. At 18:23 she received a sms stating that the loan application was declined. How does that work? She has been a loyal client of FNB for 10 years now and even has a platinum account. She has other loans with the bank and has never even skipped one payment. They have now placed us in a very difficult position and it is unacceptable.
