HI, I am capitec bank client and i have a loan with them. In december i was not debited and i have jsut recently queried this and i firstly told iwas because i had insuffient fundsa and i was in arrears. Surprisingly i get paid weekly and what capitec thus is they'll only debit as soon money comes into my acc. Now in this i was paid on time every thursday and the bank debits on this every week as well. I therefore indicated to Shakira that i have not missed a single payment since i have taken this loan then she put me on hold and her initial statement changed to''sorry sir but our bank does not weekly paid clients in december''.my question to her was did the bank notify clients like me about this by any means of communication and her was ''NO". My loan contract is for 8 months which i am supposed to be finishing in Feb 2014 as stipulated on my contract, now it means that its overlap to March due to bank not debiting my acc correctly, i have other financial commitments i cannot afford to pay for such a long period. i am now asked to make arrangements to recover December's repayments. Its not my fault the bank didn''t debit my accordingly.
