My daughter's cell 'phone was after a break in into a motor vehicle. I am the account holder. We were insured with 24 hr Mobility which was heavily punted by the MTN sales people in Melrose Arch. They said MTN Insurance was not as good.
We complied with all the requirements including police reports. No temporary cell phone was allocated. It takes them as long as 15 mins. to answer any call. I have now spoken to Thabo (thrice?), Sakkie (twice?) and Janelle. I am now dealing with the supervisor, Donovan.
They say my claim has been approved, however they could not find a replacement I-Phone 5! They asked me to go to an MTN Store, which I did in Killarney. They (Thabo) said I would be called back. After waiting for more than an hour, I left. These incidents cumulatively took place over three weeks.
I have now called and am speaking to the supervisor Donovan today after waiting approx.10 minutes for the call to be answered and another approx. ten minutes whilst they checked if a manager or superviser was available. He said he would call me back. Called after half an hour. Said the suppliers were closed. He would call me tomorrow. The saga continues...
