After 35 minutes waiting for my phone call to customer care to be answered, I give up
In July 2013 I went to the Melrose Arch store, upgraded my contract & received a Samsung Galaxy S4. I then signed a waiver saying that I don't want insurance.
Ever since then my bank account has been debited by a cellphone insurance company. After many phone calls to my bank & many reversed debit orders, I eventually found out that the company is 24Hour Mobility Cellphone Insurance.
I got hold of 24Hour Mobility & they claim that they got all of my personal details & banking details from MTN claiming that MTN have told them that I took out insurance with them.
This is not the case! I have a signed document with me explicitly declining insurance!
I have now also discovered that MTN have been charging me for BIS for the past 4 months. Why would I need Blackberry Internet Service on a Samsung?
MTN will hear from my lawyers.
I need a refund for the BIS. I need compensation for my personal private information being leaked to a company that I have no affiliation to. I need compensation for the hours & money that I have wasted on phone calls to my bank, to the cellphone insurance company & to MTN.
