Failure to deliver bank cards

I upgraded my accounts on the 3rd of January. I was informed that it would take 7 business days to process the cards. I was notified via sms that the cards were at the Thibault Square branch. As the instruction was made from the V&A Waterfront branch, I assumed my cards would be there. I went into the branch on the 14th of January (7 business days) to collect them. They weren't there.

On the 16th I went back, they still weren't there. I was informed they'd be there on the 20th. When I arrived there today (20th), the branch manager informed me that the instruction to have them sent to the Waterfront branch was never made and that I'd have to wait a further two business days for them to arrive. In total this equates to 13 business days.

I have had multiple issues with bad service at Standard Bank. This is the final straw for me. I find it unacceptable that this is the level of service I'm receiving.

At this stage I've already opened accounts at another bank. As soon as its a viable option for me to switch my debit orders, I'll be sure to do so.
