On 27/12/2013 a ABSA idirect client was responsible for an accident with my brand-new vehicle. I am not claiming from my insurance because it was not my fault and phone ABSA third party department and was told that they will only open the following week but i need to email my quotes, drivers license and a letter from my insurance that I'm not claiming from them. On 07 January 2014 i did that. Two weeks passed without any response and 2 weeks later received an email stating they acknowledge the contents of my claim and the claim was handed over to a loss adjuster. Since then no one phoned me from ABSA. My vehicle is still not repaired. If i phone them i first have to hold for longer than 10 min before my call is answered and i just get the same blunt unprofessional answer. Someone will phone you or it is at the claims department or it is over to the legal department. Cant someone responsible of ABSA third party claims just please have the professional attitude to give me a call and give me a correct direct answer. I tried to phone again today and later the phone went silent so long i had to hold.. longer than 20 min and not even speaking to anyone. So this is my only option now.
