I have been insured with first for woman for about 4 - 5 years. Numerous people have warned me that they are not very good at paying out claims and always look for loop holes not to pay out. I being an optimist first thought that I would never be in an accident then thought but they are a reputable company. I have never defaulted on any payment. To make a long story short I was involved in an accident on the 30th Dec 2013. It was raining and the car hit a water spot and lost control. I called first for woman and they sent some to take the car away. 3 days later I received a call from the assessor to who gave me a brake down of the cost and said they would finalise the claim and fix the vehicle. I then received a call 2 days ago 15th Jan 2014 to say they are refusing to play out the claim as they sent an assess back to investigate (dig) and says my back tyres are smooth and in his expert option could have caused the accident and I shud read my contract properly. I am so disappoint as they have just proved people correct where they try to look for a loop hole not to pay out. My question is Is the claim worth more that faithful clients.
