We contacted Standard bank last year October regarding putting the homeloan on hold for 4 months unpaid maternity leave. I was contacted and advised that everything is in order but we need to contact them again in January to ensure that it is done as October was too early for them to make the necessary arrangements. I was given a contact number to phone but this number just rings, I have sent more than 5 emails since beginning january, the previous email we used now no longer exists and there is no alternative email address given, we've send emails to standard bank customer queries asking for urgent assistance but still have not received any feedback. This is urgent as there won't be any funds from end of this month. the request was approved for Feb - May. We just need final confirmation to ensure that nothing goes through and we won't have a bad name because of any unpaids.
