In December my Debit Card was retained at an ATM.I called the number that has been displayed at the ATM but it did not exist so called another Standard bank number to report the incident. The incident was logged with the department. Then Sakhumzi from the department called me and ask for an itemized billing to proved that I did made an call to support my claim I send it through to him. His response was that I made a call after my money was withdrawn from my account and that they cant assist or refund me because the number that I dialed that does not exist are not on my itemized billing so he said I must lodge a complain with Standard claims department, so I did. Helga Auld from the claims department told me the same story and that they wont refund me, so I ask her she must gave me a time frame when must I make a call. She only said that I have to call immediately before my money was. I told her I did make a call to stop my account although it was to late. I ask her must I gave them the number that I dialed but she don't want to.
