I went to ABSA branch in Midrand today to reverse debits that went off my account. A deposit was made this morning and same time they take the money out off my account, so I asked for it to be reversed as it is my money and I need that money.
Just to find out that there are different divions and they do not have the mandate to reverse the debits. Now I asked with pain in my eyes... How?? is ABSA not one bank??? Then the lady has the nerve to tell me that if it was FNB or Capitec ect .. they would have done that. So I followed their procedures and was told it will take two working days for my money to be back in my account, but she is not really sure, it depends if they got the fax I send.
WELL IT TOOK YOU THE SAME TIME TO DEBIT WHEN A DEPOSIT WAS MADE!!!
It is my money and I want it back!!! I hope there will be no delay and dont care attitude.
I always been telling people what a good bank ABSA is, but regret this day.
