I made purchase in March 2012 at Handy House, Despatch. My initial repayment amount was R205, 00 per month via debit order. In April 2013 I noticed that the debit order was increased to R346.00 per month. I queried this immediately and was advised by Ashleigh to stop the debit order and open a case as a further purchase reflected on my account which was NOT made by me.
I immediately laid a charge at Jeffreys Bay SAP and sent all the documentation required as proof. To date, I have not heard anything about the purchase, it has still not been credited, and I am being phoned every month and being told that my account is in arrears. I have continued to pay the original installment, and refuse to pay for something that I did not purchase. I am being told by the operators who phone, that I must pay the full amount otherwise action will be taken against me.

The Department have never come back to me. I sent a letter on 5 August 2013 voicing my dissatisfaction with the lack of response, but still no response. Why should I pay for something I did not buy? And why can this matter not be sorted out? Why am I being harassed every single month?
