24Hour Mobility Cellphone Insurance

I lodged a claim about a damaged iPhone on 23 Dec 2013 at MTN in Killarney. On 24 Dec, I was called by Finrite (?) to say that as soon as I had paid the excess, my phone would be collected by a courier company, the very next day. I paid immediately, sent proof and was told the phone would be collected on 27 Dec - it was only collected on 31 Dec. I was promised feedback regarding whether it could be repaired or whether it would be replaced within 24 hours. I AM STILL WAITING ON 14 JAN FOR THIS FEEDBACK. I have called many times, including speaking to a supervisor twice - each time waiting about 20 minutes for the call to be answered. This adds to roughly 2.5 hours on the phone - who is going to pay that bill?? I have been promised return calls but nothing happens. I use my phone extensively for business and have been hugely inconvenienced without it - now 22 days in total. I intend reporting this incident to MTN as well.
As soon as this claim has been sorted out, I intend cancelling my contract. I have been paying a premium for at least 6 years and this is the first time I have made a claim. I could have bought a new phone for the cost of the premiums. M. Constantaras
