Account closed. No paid up letter after 2 weeks

Good day,

I got a letter from lawyers recently stating that my credit card has been handed over for collection. All the monies were paid on the 14th of October and I received a letter from the attorneys to prove so. A month later I phoned Absa's legal department and was told that they have received the notification that it has been paid up. Nothing has been actioned yet and my name still reflected on ITC as being handed over by Absa. I was quite frustrated as nothing was done in a month that I have paid it up. I was told I will then receive a paid up letter to confirm this and the ITC listing will be updated. Phoned today, almost 2 weeks later, still no letter. My names gets worse by the day and you just don't care. You get paid and thats all you care about. I want a paid up letter and the ITC listing updated or there well be to pay. Read this Absa: Get! P.S. I am not interested in taking any phone calls from your incompetent business. A paid up letter would be sufficient. And an updated ITC record. After that I will NEVER do any banking with you again. Biggest mistake: Opening an Absa account. Best thing: Closing it and moving to FNB.
