Very poor service by the claims department

On 23/12/2013 my wife was involved in an accident with my car in Strand, Western Cape. She immediately called Discovery and a claim was registered. They sent a tow-in vehicle, the police was there within minutes with a report number, which we called in to Discovery. Discovery arranged a rental car, and I picked up the car from Avis the next morning. I got an sms on 27/12/2013 to inform me that an assessment has been arranged and that they will keep me updated. I never heard from them again. I tried to call Thibile, but she was allways busy on the phone. I was promised that she would call back. She did not. On 6 January 2014, I sent an email to Thobile, requesting an urgent update. The next day, I received an email from her, request a sketch of the accident scene and the police report nr. I was astonished, since it was more than 2 weeks since the accident. My car was only sent to a repair shop 18 days after the accident, I requested her to arrange for the rental car to be extended, no joy. She said that everyone was closed over the holiday period. This is not true. The rental car is due to go back on 17/01 and my car will only be ready long after that, I am not impressed.
