Outsurance
False advertising

I was interested in insuring my vw citistorm 1.4i after seeing the adverts that outsurance could beat my current premiums or give me R400 if they could not. The consultant by the name of yegan moodley (not sure if the name is correct) gave me a call at 10am and done the quotation for me and i was quoted for an amount of R573 which i was satisfied with. he was supposed to send me a copy of the quotation through email which i never received and i went to do the vesa inspection at the glass fitment centre in auckland park empire rd. When i phoned back to ask for the fax number to email the certificate i was told that ht epolicy was on my dads name with his ID number. No where in my conversation did i state that it was going to be on his name or that he was going to pay the policy. I even stated that i was the regular driver and now to rectify it to put myself as a principle driver and put the policy on my name i was quoted over R800 which is ridiculous. I am currently insured with Hollard and paying less than R800 with a tracker on my vehicle. I am disappointed with outsurance and i feel they owe me R400 because of their incompetence and due to the fact that they cant beat my premiums
