I have cell phone insurance with my Miway for a Sony Xperia Z. 3 days ago the screen cracked while the phone was in my pocket. i called MIway and they arranged for the phone to be collected. The phone was written off (cant be repaired) and i was told that the phone was under insured. (Miway suggested the insured price in July 2013)
The phone is now worth R8000 (some change) according to the quotes from Miway suppliers. so after a long fight they say they will cover the under insured amount. So as a matter of interest i checked the price of a new Xperia Z and found it to only cost R5639, so Miway forces you to use there very very expensive supplier and could not really care what the client has to say about it. I rate there service at a 0 on a scale of 0-10.
If i knew what i know now, I would never have chosen Miway as my insurer and will be moving all my cover from Myway asap.
