We have been with Outsurance for many years, and I praised their service with friends, business associates and on this forum. I am going to copy my letter to Mr Govender below after my insurance was cancelled.
In a period of a year we had the following claims:
1: 2 x Smash and Grab of the same vehicle, a D/C Toyota with tinted and "Smash n Grab" protection, both claims we paid for the glass, tinting and damage to the vehicle we only paid out a token amount of the claim as the Apple laptop, although specified, it was not in a "locked compartment". The second claim, and neither yourself, Sias or the SAPS had a look at the video footage showing the perpetrators and their vehicles.
2: On my way back from work a drunk causes an accident, he is locked up for DUI. The claim was in the region of R50k This 4 month old R500k vehicle was so badly repaired by your that ended up selling it and buying a new one exactly the same colour and specification, losing R100k in the processes.
3: The third and last claim was on a 3 year old motorcycle that was insured with Outsurance since day one, our first m/cycle claim in 30 years and we have 3.
