During November I contact Indwe risk who are a Brokerage to find me insurance as I was not covered as I had subsequently found out the my ex had removed me from his insurance without informing me, I found this out in May when someone drove into me that I was not insured. Indwe contacted a few insurnac companies and we decided to go for M&F. During the quote done with me and the broker I clearly stated that I was not currently covered and I had pre existing damage.
The broker did the quote with them and told them this repeateldly. I unfortunately had an incident on the 20/12/2014. Contacted M&F to submit a claim and this is when the nightmare started! They firstly tried to reject the claim based on "festive season" exclusions. We told them that nothing was mentioned regarding this when we incepted the policy. they then said they would pay for the damages - the next day i get a call that they are rejecting now based on information given by the Broker. the broker told them during the activation call that "she is not sure when I was removed off my ex's insurance and she supposes it could have stopped in Feb 2013?
They are seeing this as factual info given by Broker?? Bunch of!
