ATM deposit money missing for over 3 weeks

On 17th Dec'13, I deposited R2, 700 at a Sandton ATM (using an envelope). All was well until 2 weeks later I happened to check my statement and saw that on 21st Dec, the money had been taken out of my account, stating "error by customer"- Std Bank, do you not feel the need to contact your clients to advise that there is some kind of problem, instead of having them discover you have taken their money without any notice?! I then Iogged a query on 30th December (ref: 56511961), and told someone from the ATM dep. will contact me shortly. Noone called me until on the 2nd Jan, when I PICKED UP THE PHONE MYSELF... I was told my query would be 'escalated', and finally somebody called, telling me the money would reflect in my account by 7:30 pm. The money was still not in my account next day, so I called for the THIRD TIME. This consultant said nobody knows what's going on and the query would be 'escalated' again. I expressed my disappointment and urgency of the situation, but nobody has contacted me since... I have been a Standard Bank client since I was 12 yrs old and feel insulted by how insignificant you have made me feel. It's unfortunate that I had to take this route to get your attention
