I purchased a groupon on the 16/12/2013 and I sent through a request to groupon to cancel it as it expired the same day I purchased it. Two weeks later and the refund still did not reflect into my credit card. Then I contacted groupon head office and they advised that the refund was processed on their side and that I should contact my bank to find out why the money was not reflecting in my account.

The I contacted standard bank countless times with my query and nothing was done. I sent through all the necessary documents that the charge back department needed to investigate. they advised that it would take 20 working days. Today is the 04/02/2014 and I just called standard bank AGAIN and spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get some feedback from them. the consultant who assisted me could not see any query on my credit card. I requested that I speak to her manager and made me wait for 10 minutes on the line without feedback!

I am frustrated as it is almost two months since the purchase was made. WHERE IS MY MONEY AS THE MERCHANT SENT ME PROOF OF THE CREDIT NOTE THAT WAS DONE?!!!

I think I should move to FNB, maybe there I will be assisted when I have a query on my account!
