I had an account with Nedbank which had subsequently been closed. This was a cheque account and besides paying their exorbitant monthly "service fees" I am told to pay R800 odd to bring the account up to date.
1st Problem - contacted the call centre and they said the account is closed.
2nd Problem - I have proof via sms that funds were deposited into that account about a week ago which exceeds the amount supposedly owing.
Guess what - They can't pick up the deposit -no surprise at all.
Having that account was more of a burden because the fees charged is ridiculous and even though the account is closed they want to charge.
How on earth do I owe R800 odd in service fees on a closed account???
This bank is pathetic - even threatening my credit record!!!
In my eyes all that this bank does is from its hard working customers.!!!
