I am so upset with Absa bank. I have been banking with Absa for almost 20 years. The past week or so has been a nightmare. I'm not receiving any notification sms from Absa, the service which I pay for. I've been trying to do cash sends 3 times no notification sent to my phone, I cant do an internet transfer because I'm not receiving any notification from Absa. I called the call centre everyday from the 24th of Dec all they say is that the problem is with my SP even though I'm receiving notifications from other banks (FNB and Capitec). So I called my SP and they confirmed that the problem is not with them. For the last week I have not been able to use my internet, cell phone banking. This is Poor service and No one is getting back to me. I have had it with this bank!!! Such pathetic service! This is the last attempt at trying to get help!!!
