If you go onto ABSA internet banking, ABSA give you a option to register on llne for internet banking. Not so...

I registered my son on ABSA internet banking, and when we came to add a benificery, there was no limit amount. When we tried to go and change the daily trasnsfer limit, we were told we have to register for a GRV number. I also tried to activate the notification to cell option... nothing.

Without getting this right, I called the Contact Us number, only to be told that I have to go into a branch to do the above.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, WITH TEARS IN MY EYES, EXPLAIN TO MY WHAT THE POINT OF OFFERING ON LINE REGISTRATION FOR INTERNET BANKING, IF YOU NEED TO GO INTO A BRANCH TO ACTIVATE EVERYTHING TO START.???
