Fuss free when it suits them!!

I have my home loan through Standard Bank this was a relatively easy process.

I had been having problems with Absa who I bank with & as Std Bank had been so good with my home loan, I decided to change banks. This was also a pleasant experiance. All my debit orders were tranferred painlessly.

Unfortunately things went downhill rapidly resulting in me collecting my card and no limits being set which left me stranded at a garage not being able to pay for my petrol. Since then it has one inconveniance after the other. I have now decided am tired of being inconvenianced by std bank and wish to close my accounts.

When changing my home loan from Absa to Std bank, Std bank was happy to change it over without conscent from my husband even though it is a joint loan. Now I want to change it back to the initial bank account its a problem. I need written conscent from my husband which I have sent through. Now they want stamped bank statements from Absa.

Why the double standards.
I work full time Mon-Sat so getting to the bank for these statements isn't possible.
I am tired of being inconvenianced- what must I do to get this sorted and close my Standard Bank Accounts?!?!?
