I bank with ABSA and have been doing so for most of my life. I have applied with the major banks for a home loan and have had feedback and responses throughout the process. My obvious preference would be to take out this loan with my bank. I have requested a change in consultant as my consultant does not reply to my follow up emails and was told blankly that this cannot be done. It seems like MY bank would rather have me move accounts that provided a decent service level. To date I have has feedback and excellent service from Nedbank, Standard Bank and FNB. About time ABSA wakes up.
