I had a storm damage claim in November 2012, Zurich appointed an assessor on the 27/12/2012 to assess my loss. Tracey Oates the assessor comes all the way from Durban to Pietermaritzburg but does not assess or take out photos but instead goes through my entire house to check what I have. A month later when I phoned her she said she has done nothing with my claim and needs to come back to do another assessment. She said she did not take photos. My furniture, clothes, carpets were soaking wet, can I have the items lying around like that. Twice an assessment was done, then it went to they investigators, then it went to a technician which was Israel and now they say I must speak to Susan. When i spoke to Susan this morning she said the claim must go to management. She said the claim is in the queing system when she gets to it she will phone me. she has never phoned me as yet and neither did the assessor or the investigator or management of Zurich or the technicians. i HAVE WAITED FOUR MONTHS FOR PAYMENT. I have to always phoned them for feedback and they always promise to call me back but never ever do. I was treated so bad by the assessor because I think she is.
