Standard Bank moving forward? Think again!
On 7 December R4000 was withdrawn from my account at an ATM. Today is the 30th. The bank found that it wasn't because of the following reasons: 1. My card was used (i still have my card, but it was used when I was at home). 2. My pin was known (Pemelope Rabe from complaints dept told me the have ways to get hold of your pin) 3. It was at an ATM close to my house that I've used before. So if there is a drawing money from your account from a cloned card and ATM close to your house, then Std Bank assumes that a private banking client for many years part of Std Bank is the! How pathetic! It took them 20 days to tell me that! Other people's money drawn from the same ATM on the same day was paid back! How is that for amazing treatment. Still don't even have my credit card! This is protecting your clients and helping them? I don't think so. Bad bad bad service is all I can say! Even had to log calls twice with the Complaints division. As the 1st one wasn't logged with Kabelo after he assured me that they are the best division and will solve my query. Well, thanks for nothing after 21 days!
