Spoke to Small Business Manager at The Nedbank Sandown Branch approx 3weeks ago and requested a cession of life policy be cancelled on a loan, which was settled and closed 2 years ago. The manager advised me that given the fact the loan is paid in full and closed that the cession will be cancelled within 24hrs. I followed up every week, but nothing was done and I now sit with a payment that has gone through for a policy which is no longer required. I will be taking the matter further and claiming the debit order amount from Nedbank, as a result of poor customer service and lack of accountability.
