Extremely disappointed in service

Since end March / early April I've tried assisting a client to get a letter out of Nedbank confirming that the cession they hold against his Old Mutual policy has been cancelled. Nedbank request that the homeloan account of the client (that doesn't exist anymore since it has been paid up in 2004 already) first needs to be closed before they can continue. They also requested various documents to be faxed. After adhering to Nedbank's requirements I've phoned today with the client just to find out Nedbank closed the request and that we need to start afresh and that it shall be resolved within 6 working days. Previously we were told it can take up to 3 months which is contradictory to what we've been told today.

I've sent through similar requests to ABSA, FNB and Standard Bank that was resolved in as little as 3 days. Why on struggle so much with Nedbank remains a mistery.
